Helmed by Advait Chandan, the upcoming Hindi film Laal Singh Chaddha which also has Kareena Kapoor Khan as the leading lady is an official Hindi adaptation of the Academy Award-winning 1994 film Forrest Gump, which had Tom Hanks in the lead role. The movie is scheduled to release on 11th August this year.
